Fashion Week Highlights

Did you miss fashion week 2016? Don’t worry, we were watching it and we were loving it! From London to New York, designers were providing shock factors at every show. Here’s what you missed at all four of the major fashion weeks this spring:

Paris Fashion Week:

Demna Gvasalia made a successful debut at the Balenciaga show. The models strutted the runway donning floral gowns and checked couture suits. New York Times called this debut the “Bigeest Moment of the Month”.

Coach really got the party started at their show with a “high school bash” themed event. The show was perfected with fun styles, free-spirited models, and even a performance by Debby Henry!

London Fashion Week:

Alexander McQueen returned to London with an astonishing line complete with beautiful detail, quality textures, and elegant styles. As my favorite designer, I’d say they rocked this relaunch.

Burberry also left crowds speechless this month by surprising them with a “See Now Buy Now” show which complete with a Street Shop after party. You could actually purchase their apparel directly after the show!

Milan Fashion Week:

Milan Fashion Week was all about collaborations and debut’s. Attico was introduced to the fashion seen through their show which depicted robe-like wrap dresses and loungewear. They brought comfort to couture.

Gucci collaborated with the “Graffiti Ghost” to design luxury designer spray painted handbags that models donned at his MFW show this month. They took high fashion and produced street style.

New York Fashion Week:

Are you shocked Kanye West made our list? We didn’t think so. The Yeezy 3 show doubled as his album launch party for his new tracks on “The Life of Pablo”. With the Kardashian’s in tow, it was sure to be a success.

Last but not least, the biggest surprise of the month! Lady Gaga shocked fans when she strutted the runway during Marc Jacobs NYFW show. She wore the most elaborate look of all of the models, but she easily could have been mistaken for one with her fierce walk!
